  • A good podcast but does not criticise theSRU

This podcast does have some good interviews but always follows the SRU line. For example: never discusses in any depth, and is never critical, of the decisions to get rid of the Scottish sevens programmes or the Super Series. And what about the terribly sad events surrounding the late Siobhan Cattigan? This podcast is basically a mouthpiece for the SRU and needs to viewed in this context.

  • Woeful analysis

If you’re going to do a professional podcast after a game of rugby, you should have at least done some basic analysis on the key moments before pressing record. Pondering why Cowan-Dickie was exposed out of position for the penalty try in the Calcutta cup - every other report I’ve seen had worked it out! Basically, most other rugby pods are better

  • Love in

Enjoy listening to the podcast....the one from 27th June however felt like a bit of a love in......would have expected much more challenging questions to coo. All questions felt like an opportunity for him to say how well SRU are doing through pandemic.
