Another promising premise that gets ruined by political bias and a confusing format.
Most of the time they don’t seem to like the movies they watch. Then, of course, they have the liberal bias. They’re the type of people that go out of their way to find something wrong about someone so they can claim their moral superiority, Robin in particular.
If you share their beliefs and hatred of most movies, then they’re the ones to listen to.
I found your podcast by way of being a fan of Revisiting Sunnyvale! I am enjoying the way you break down the movies you review, the especially all the factoids. Only request from this Gen Ex’er.- more older films ! ( pre 90s)
Is he calling in from the moon?
Terrific show. Informative, concise, and funny. I love that they contextualize the movie in its time of release with the “Factsy” segment and #1 song. An appointment podcast for me.
I love this podcast but I especially love when Aaron is able to hop on and add his input. I love Sean’s input, I love his movie knowledge and input and also Camille (hope I spelled that right) is a delight with her insights and humor but not too much of a fan of Robin as I feel she’s just overly negative for no reason, especially with the Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 episode. But overall super enjoyable.
Always entertaining!
I am a extremely spoiler adverse so I only listen to episodes that I have seen the movie. But it’s great to hear 2 Pittsburgh guys having some serious movie talk. Sean and Aaron have good chemistry. But I do wish the show was a tad longer.
So much fun to hear their take on movies, and they are hilarious. If you haven’t tuned in, you should. They will give you a heads up on what is good, and what is very, very bad!
This is a great show about movies. Aaron and Sean really hit it out of the park in terms of what films I will like and what I will walk out of.
They’re right to say that they’re not gonna talk about what Kurosawa would have done. Who cares anyway? These guys are funny and they review the movies right after they see them so it’s very fresh. Love it.
Sean and Aaron are great together. As a casual movie fan who is looking to see some more movies, this helps to sift through them to find the good ones. Also good for some laughs when I listen on my way to work!
Sean Collier is my favorite critic. I have his poster on my wall. Injecting films reviews with some real 'Burgh personality.
Too much factual inaccuracy.
I heard about this on Doug Loves Movies and it's excellent give it a listen !
After hearing Aaron on 'Doug Loves Movies', I decided to give this podcast a shot and ended up binging all the shows in a week. They are smart, funny, and honest. When they rant on bad movies it's great, but when they love something, it's great too. You can really tell how much they just love movies. I'm a movie geek, so it warms my heart. Also, they love horror movies! Finally reviewers that give horror movies a chance!!! Just a great show. Highly recommend
