Listening to Jack’s podcast every week is like having your own personal Bowen systems coach. I love the the way that he integrates the Christian faith, stories from his family life, and articles from relevant modern day thinkers. His delivery makes the complex - concise and easy to understand, and you will soon find yourself looking for ways to apply it in your own life.
I have listened to this podcast since 2020 when I read Jack’s book Anxious Church, Anxious People. Over the past 3-4 years my reactivity has decreased and my resilience has increased. Hands down one of the best podcasts out there for leaders who want to be authentic and real without the consequences of emotional mismanagement. I’ve only listened to a half-dozen episodes and now decided that I want to start at the beginning and work my way back through to now. From what I can tell, this is an exceptional show.
Rev. Jack Shitama has helped many in their leadership through his knowledge of family systems and being a non anxious presence. In these short weekly episodes, Jack gives valuable insight and concrete examples of how to become a healthier you and a better leader. Highly recommended!
