I just added a review of this excellent podcast in my review of The New Yorker’s podcast.
So great to have Russ add some nutrition to the empty calories of the original show.
Was hoping someone would comment on the NYPS. Thank you Russ! Spot on analysis and funny to boot. Wouldn’t mind hearing additional commentary on the mid-week NYPS Foggatt episodes.
The professionalism shines through, even as a one man show, and I legitimately laughed out loud at a few points (the humor is dry as heck). We can't take the piss out of these people enough, so glad to hear a voice who can cut straight to it with the wit that the NYPS hosts lack.
While I often disagree with Russ, I enjoy hearing his take and I mostly tune in in hopes he will have his much smarter father back on as a guest
