  • Would give 5 were it not for ad read issue

My goto daily email. Like the cast. However, the way you read the ads is scammy feeling. It’s accepted convention to say something like and now a word from our sponsor. The way you do it leaves me confused at first and irked thereafter. So now I have a negative feeling associated with Whisper Flow, likely not what they want?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

AI Just Democratized Filmmaking (w/ LTX Co-Founder)
Q: What hardware is needed to run LTX-2 at HD level, and how accessible is it for the average creator?
HD-level performance typically requires high-end GPUs like RTX 5090s, but the community has shown success on older GPUs (e.g., 3070 with 8GB) and even Apple Silicon; the model is optimized for efficiency and can run on a range of consumer to data-center hardware with varying speeds depending on the setup.
AI Just Democratized Filmmaking (w/ LTX Co-Founder)
Q: What mechanism are we using to run these locally, and what setup is recommended?
There are two main supported options: Comfy UI for a graph-based editor and LTX-2's own codebase designed for researchers and developers, with LTX Desktop providing a nonlinear editor built on the model for local, hardware-tied workflows.
The AI Agent That Compressed 8 Years of R&D Into 2 Weeks
Q: Why use a combination of dry data with a foundation model and LLMs rather than feeding everything into an LLM?
Because raw numerical wet data is not well served by plain LLMs, so a foundation model handles numeric data and domain-specific constraints, while the LLM handles broader search and integration of literature, ensuring both precision and scalable discovery.
The AI Agent That Compressed 8 Years of R&D Into 2 Weeks
Q: How does Molecular Universe interact with the wet lab to validate AI predictions?
Molecular Universe creates a comprehensive map of potential molecules (dry data) and then uses high-throughput robots in the wet lab to generate real experimental data, which calibrates the dry data and in turn makes the AI predictions more accurate and trustworthy.
BONUS: Gemini 3 Flash (Smartest, Cheapest AI) with Google DeepMind's Logan Kilpatrick
Q: How should people think about interactions with Flash 3 vs Gemini 3 Flash in real-world workflows?
Treat Flash as the default for many everyday tasks to maximize speed and cost efficiency, while reserving 3 Pro for tasks that demand frontier-level capabilities and deeper context handling.
