  • Fantastic reviews

Is it Darkonius(German?) who has so much insight to the Miyazaki works and overall knows Japanese animation industry? He is so great. Disappointed when he was not in the もののけ姫 review and instead they talked about “furry”. As a Japanese who used to work at animation industry, I am amazed with the depth these people talk about Ghibli works without associating to Western animation culture.

  • Tone-deaf Sexism

Somewhat intelligent discussion by a group of men who seemingly all want to out-smart each other. The analysis is unfortunately heavily outweighed by the tone-deaf sexism. I’ve listened to 2 episodes and will listen no more. more
