Alex Gruskin’s passion for tennis is unmatched! Its really fun to listen to him. Even though I really only have time to watch the pros, i appreciate his commitment to covering tennis at all levels. His love for the game is contagious
The Mini-break podcast is in a position where it has a great opportunity to be a consistent one-of-a-kind daily tennis podcast, yet it squanders this opportunity because our host Alex Gruskin intermittently has other events and obligations he attends to without there being a secondary host, and this prevents this show from being a true 'daily' podcast that it claims itself to be. I cannot deny Alex Gruskin is getting better and better at this tennis talking thing! I really enjoy his back and forth with guests and his solo acts are not too shabby either. Sometimes he does promote podcasts that don’t end up being recorded but he seems like a very busy guy so it’s understandable. Perhaps consider the “under promise and over deliver” strategy moving forward :) Either way, keep the tennis musings coming!
The daily host feels very spot on with his analysis of all things Tennis. He just needs to keep the guest contributors to the topic of Tennis and stay out of politics
