Too much preamble for my liking. I don't like slow starting podcasts. I sat down for dinner to hear some analysis on his "top ten" atp players after the us open 2025, and I finished eating before he even began analyzing. It's advertisements on top of stating obvious facts (who won what, which we already know) rather than getting to the analysis. Just my honest take.
You just know being a daily listener my boy Gruskin’s getting 5 stars. Alex I also have a strange request if you see this review. Could you give an insight to your own tennis game as well as Gill Gross’s. I was also wondering which of the two of you are better.
I listen to a lot of tennis podcasts and this is my absolute favorite for both WTA and ATP. No one can beat Alex Gruskin’s enthusiasm and love of this sport. Love the monthly top 10, quarterly, year end reviews etc. Two thumbs up.
A fun, informative tennis podcast that strikes the right balance between deep analysis and light-hearted banter. The hosts are passionate and knowledgeable, and they make even the most technical stuff easy to follow. Whether you’re into the pro tours, college tennis, or just love the sport, this is a great listen
Highly recommend these pods. They can sometimes dive a bit too deep into random players (at least for me), but Alex, the host, does an excellent job of keeping it entertaining while offering great analysis. His top 10 player episodes and discussions about who might win a slam in the future are always spot on. He also does a nice job with his guests, especially DK and Gill Gross. Any pod that covers grand slams or the top players in the game is definitely worth a listen.
