  • Sorry Andre?

Petko you can’t say Sorry Andre when you’re in Paris where he completed the career grand slam! Pete was great at Wimbledon and US Open but he could never complete the career grand slam and never even beat Andre at the Australian or French. Sorry Pete Sorry Petko. Andre will always have Paris!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why Sinner & Djokovic Skipped Montreal || US Open Mixed Doubles Draws Big Stars || Hailey Baptiste Talks Recovery, Tiafoe & Beating Sabalenka
Q: Hailey Baptiste, can you describe where you are in your recovery and how you're approaching this comeback?
Hailey explained she's rehabbing at home in DC, focusing on rebuilding strength and confidence, and emphasized the importance of a sustainable plan, comfort with the process, and mental resilience to overcome fear of re-injury.
Eala Wins 1st WTA Title - Can She Win A Slam? || July Power Rankings Revealed || Serena & Venus Team Up For Cincy
Q: Rick asks how pro players slide on hard courts, and what training or technique is involved.
The hosts explain that sliding on hard courts requires speed, confidence, and balance, often starting with smooth-soled shoes to reduce grip for learning, then progressively building technique and strength to trust the slide and stay balanced on impact.
Sinner Defends Wimbledon Title, Wins 5th Major || Noskova Wins For Mom || Special Guest: Comedian Matt Friend
Q: What are the practical realities of a top pro's entourage during big tournaments, and how does rest time differ from a match day?
Top players typically travel with a core team (physio, coach, trainer, sometimes a second coach), and the size of the entourage scales with ranking and resources. On larger events, players still maintain a full routine with warmups, practice blocks, and meals, but the level of independence and need for space can increase for lower-ranked players who travel with smaller teams. Rest days tend to be strategic practice or light recovery rather than complete breaks, depending on the player's schedule and goals.
When In Rome! Sinner Unstoppable, Novak Is Back and Special Guest Lorenzo Musetti
Q: What has contributed to Italy becoming a powerhouse in men's tennis, and what role did federations and leadership play?
The guests discuss federation investments in tournaments, wild cards, and development pathways, emphasizing leadership from figures like Jannik Sinner and the broader Italian system that nurtures young talent.
When In Rome! Sinner Unstoppable, Novak Is Back and Special Guest Lorenzo Musetti
Q: Firstly, Lorenzo, how did you get into tennis and what sparked your love for the sport?
Lorenzo explains he started with his father, who loved tennis, practicing from a young age, and gradually found his passion through family and early experiences, including playing against his father and relatives.
