  • Best during the Yankee season.

I miss the banter with the old show guys, Michael gets into these rabbit hole social media rants and the callers are unbearable but for Yankee stuff, it’s hard to beat Kay.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 2: Richard Jefferson
Q: Richard, how do you stop a player like Brunson when he's on a run late in a game?
There is no perfect stop; you try to contest shots, pressure him off the ball, and force other players to beat you, but Brunson's ability to create clean looks makes it essential to disrupt the rhythm and deny him the ball at critical moments.
Hour 2: Stephon Marbury
Q: Can you take us inside just kind of how the relationship again with the Knicks and James Dolan?
Marbury talks about mutual respect, open communication, and the sense that past tensions are in the past as he forges a fresh partnership with the organization.
Hour 2: Tim Britton
Q: What do you think this nine-game stretch will mean for the Mets' season long term?
The Mets need to show improvement to avoid sliding into a deeper hole; going 6-3 will stabilize things and buy time for decision-makers, while continuing to struggle could increase pressure on Mendoza and Sterns.
Hour 2: Kendrick Perkins
Q: I want to ask you this, Perk, why did it take this long?
Perkins discusses integration of Karl-Anthony Towns into the offense and the evolution of offensive schemes, noting that teams often shift to fit players and that Towns' fit improved as the year progressed.
Hour 1: The Schlitt
Q: What is the plan for Cam Schlittler going forward given the pitch count and back stiffness in spring?
The plan is to gradually increase his workload to reach starter territory, with close attention to preserving health, which may include limiting innings per start and monitoring back stiffness while still developing his role in the rotation.
