As ALWAYS, I love their work.
I just discovered this podcast and binged the whole thing. It’s really enjoyable and quite spooky! The narrator’s voice is wonderful, and she’s excellent at injecting emotion into her tone. Give it a try!
I came across this podcast by chance. A reviewer mentioned it in the comments section of another podcast I enjoyed so decided to check it out. So glad I did! This podcast is great! The narrator is very good and the writing is tight. Each episode advances the plot while telling a unique standalone story. It’s too bad that there’s only two seasons. I would happily tune in to more!
I binged both her podcasts in a week and I’m so sad they are over. Her voice is delightful and the stories are the perfect mix of spooky and funny. Can’t wait to see what she does next!
My Spotify recently recommended that I might like The Antique Shop so I came to the podcast app to read the reviews. So many of the reviews talked about loving Mcllwraith Statements so I thought I’d start with this first. I’m soooo glad I did! This podcast is amazing! The first podcast I ever listened too was the Black Tapes and I absolutely loved how the story is around investigating paranormal events scientifically. I loved the black tapes so much and it’s the podcast that got me hooked on pod... more
I started binge listening after finding Maya’s other podcast. I’m trying to pace myself through the two because they’re both so good. I love her Scottish accent, dialect. It took me some time to get used to it which wasn’t too hard because her voice is lovely. She writes and records her stories. I’d love to contribute some money if it meant she could continue her writing and podcasting. more
Excellent writing, character building and premise. A university grad who can both see ghosts and is assisting in research into the paranormal (though not disclosing her ability) deals with a lot of complications.
I discovered this series belatedly through the creator's later podcast, The Antique Shop, which I also highly recommend. Listen to them both if you haven't already!
