Great show. I’ve listened to sports radio in a lot of different markets, and the balance Matt, Ross, and the crew strike between covering the teams and keeping things entertaining is remarkably consistent.
They manage to be informed without taking themselves too seriously, which is harder to do than we think.
My only suggestion would be adding a condensed version of the show for listeners who can’t always commit to the full program.
Also, maybe throw the Dash fans a bone every now and then.... more

This show is a fast-paced Houston sports talker with a strong emphasis on local teams, especially the Astros and Texans, mixed with occasional national sports chatter. Episodes typically feature deep dives on game strategy, bullpen usage, and roster decisions, balanced with fan calls, light banter, and pop-culture detours. A standout trait is its casual, radio-host personality—informative yet entertaining—plus a steady stream of long-form guest insights from seasoned beat writers, former players, and local analysts. The format is well suited for fans who want blunt, real-time analysis anchored in Houston sports culture and frequent audience interaction.
