Love the content! As a maker I love hearing the science/history side of object to person relationships. Would love to hear indigenous voices on the show!
I came across this podcast after a ceramicist they interviewed posted about it. As an object maker myself, I’m very interested in material culture and oh man was I blown away by how great this podcast is!!! There’s a perfect balance of theory behind material culture and what objects mean to us (in so many ways) through good conversation and some laughs too! I always learn something new. And the music selection is on point!
This could be the most entertaining way to learn about archaeology and how to apply it on modern culture. I always think about how the future will think about this current generation and what they'd find most interesting in our aspects of lives. Technological inventions came to my mind immediately but I didn't know tattoo could be examinated too!
