Imagine the next messiah doesn’t come from religion, but from the tech world. Chartrulean abandoned piety for progress, becoming the savior the world needed anyway. But at what cost? The Jhardeho Order named him messiah and taught him that progress means corruption. He defected. Then, House Starbringer handed him the power to end a centuries-long war. What Chartrulean chose split his world in two.... more

World building, political intrigue, extraordinary sound design… The Madness of Chartrulean has it all. It’s rich, ambitious, and beautifully produced. As so many other reviewers have said before, it’s a masterclass in sci-fi audio drama production.
This show has INSANELY good sound design. When they recommend listening in a quiet space with headphones on, they aren’t kidding. Do it.
The rich story telling will put its hooks in you and next thing you know, 3 hours have passed and you’re staring into the middle distance still listening.
This audiodrama is astounding, especially when you consider the small indie producer who crafts it by hand: no AI here.. It's a story like Dune or Foundation, with a fantastic cast, sumptuous sound design, powerful music, weaving sci-fi magic with very human themes. I also recommend looking up Packhowl Media--you can see a lot of behind-the-scenes work shows how H.M. Radcliff puts everything together. Remarkable talent behind a remarkable show.
The Madness of Chartrulean is truly a special show, with fantastic writing, acting, and production values. The sound design alone is truly incredible. It’s clear that Packhowl cares about storytelling in a very deeply personal way. Well worth checking out!
No, thatasceticsassisi, there’s no AI being used. The creator is one of the hardest working people in the business and her creation is solely created from her mind -- and the dozens of cast and crew who love and support this title.
AI has been trained to emulate us. But that doesn’t mean that ALL things in threes are AI.
