I’m here for the background music
This podcast provides some interesting history on JM, but they really put him on a pedestal. If you want to hear history on JM this is a good source but keep in mind it is heavily biased. This podcast just further proves the point that JM is the pope of GCC and all other associated churches. There is no historical confession, the churches believe what JM says is true.
I really don’t like how Pastor Duncan calls Pastor MacArthur only by his last name. It demonstrate a lack of respect and betrays contempt for a man who has given his life to the ministry of the word of God and invested so much time, love and energy to discipline man. He has earned the respect of many and should be show respect, even if he says he doesn’t care what people calls him, you can truly see the people around him who truly respect him and the people waiting in the shadows waiting for him... more
I love the content and been listening to McArthur since 2020. However the only criticism I have is that your background music is horrible. Perhaps you’re trying to reach out to a younger “hipper” audience. But I tune out just in the music alone. I go back and listen to other MaArthur podcast. Because I want to hear the messages. Season two episode two audio is the same as season 3 episode 2. And Season 3 episode 1 is the same as season 3 episode 4. Though the transcripts of the former is a totally different episode. Please fix, I want to listen in order!
