  • Finally, up to date.

It took a year to get current on the episodes, so I’m a little nervous that I’ll have to start waiting for them.

May 19th on Acts you wrongly stated Catholicism went to Rome via Peter. You failed to say Jesus in a vision commanded Paul in Acts 23:11 to go do in Rome what he’d done in Jerusalem . Why do you put down Catholicism. It belittles you.

  • Ugh

Arrogance and ego, along with foolish, juvenile banter. This was once a fascinating, enlightening podcast. No longer. I’m unsubscribing.

  • I tried

Tried an episode from 4/22/22. One speaker said “right?” after nearly every sentence. Lame “jokes.” Annoying banter. Awful.

Let Me Acts You Something
Q: How should we think about reading these extracanonical texts in relation to canonical scripture?
These texts are witnesses to traditions and should be read for edification and understanding of early Christian life, not as pristine historical records. They can be read in multiple ways, including orthodox and Gnostic interpretations, but the Church historically distinguishes between what is read publicly (canonical) and what is read privately (apocrypha), using discernment and pastoral guidance.
From Abel to Zechariah
Q: What is the significance of blood in biblical theology according to the hosts?
Blood represents life and a call for reckoning, but it can be covered or silenced by sacrificial blood, which purifies and atones, leading to reconciliation and salvation.
What Must I Do to Be Saved?
Q: What does salvation mean for Adam before the fall?
Salvation for Adam meant maturing toward the likeness of God by keeping the three commandments and living in a garden‑like, ordered creation that points toward the ultimate goal of becoming like God.
Pantheon and Pandemonium XIX: Asynchronous Q&A Feb 2026
Q: How should one understand worship in terms of sacrifice versus veneration in light of biblical texts and translations?
They discuss that worship (latria) is directed to God alone, while veneration (dulia) is given to saints and people, and that biblical terms can be translated in ways that seem to blur the lines; the Orthodox tradition keeps A (worship of God) separate from B (veneration of saints and loved ones) to preserve doctrinal clarity.
When the Morning Stars Sang
Q: Why are twins not the same in terms of their fate?
Twins, who are conceived at the same time and born near to one another, often display different fates and personalities.
