Continuing their examination of the Torah and its place in the Christian Church, Fr. Stephen and Fr. Andrew look at Torah themes of worship, uncleanness, and the death penalties.
Christ said that He did not come to abolish the Torah but to fulfill it (Matt. 5:17), but a lot of Christians seem to think He came to abolish it. All that Old Testament stuff is over. But is that the real relationship of the OT to the NT? Tune in an... more

I can not express in words how grateful I am to have found Orthodoxy, and this podcast helped me better understand the deeper things of biblical teachings. I find great beauty in the Orthodox Church in so many ways, and truly believe it is the best kept secret in American Christianity.
Wow, I just discovered this show, and already I’ve saved several episodes that I know I will have to return to listen to a second and third time. One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to, The Lord of Spirits is funny, deep, challenging, and will leave you wanting more even after three hours. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the Orthodox faith, biblical history, and dive into complex theological concepts (with the odd Star Trek reference thrown in for good measure!)
