    About halfway through listening daily while saying the Jesus prayer otw to work. You can really start to feel the labor of love emanating as each episode ends. God bless you Father and thank you for doing this.

  • Excellent Orthodox Resource

    I find it tricky to read scripture every day, so this podcast is a blessing. Others have criticized the background music, but I find it helps me to get in the zone. The patristic “footnotes” and Father Alexis’ pastoral commentary are what really set this apart as a phenomenal resource for Orthodox Christians.

  • An answer to an unspoken prayer

    My ability to use my vision to read, and much more is damaged. I hungered for scripture, and to understand it as well. Despite the great Orthodox Study Bible, I knew I was missing subtleties. The Spirit knew my hunger and the Lord answered a prayer I didn't know to speak. A PODCAST?
