I find it tricky to read scripture every day, so this podcast is a blessing. Others have criticized the background music, but I find it helps me to get in the zone. The patristic “footnotes” and Father Alexis’ pastoral commentary are what really set this apart as a phenomenal resource for Orthodox Christians.

My ability to use my vision to read, and much more is damaged. I hungered for scripture, and to understand it as well. Despite the great Orthodox Study Bible, I knew I was missing subtleties.
