Really interesting on the state of political life in France. Would love to hear more on your thoughts on future changes like making long term (6 mo) visas easier to obtain. Also places to be sure to visit in France that are more unknown.
Trump wins the election and their first story, after 8 weeks off, is how Americans can flee to France. Lol
I just wanted to take the time to thank you all for a superb and highly entertaining and informative pod. My wife and I a long term Francophiles who visit France two or three times a year and we benefit greatly from listening.
As a longtime Scottish Francophile, I do learn new things. However, as a francophone, I find the continual mispronunciation of French words and names embarrassing. The latest podcast has both "autoroutes" and the town of Millau being apparently pronounced in German! If you don't know. Please check with your French friends or family. Otherwise, seems like the arrogance and unfounded sense of superiority the English are so well known for when abroad.
A thoroughly enjoyable podcast. It’s interesting and informative, with a refreshing sprinkling of British sarcasm.
