This is by far my favorite podcast of all time! Oliver Gee is an extraordinarily thorough, kind and entertaining interviewer. When he is joined by his wife Lina their sweet banter takes the fun to the next level. I found this podcast a few months ago after the death of my best friend of decades, and hearing Oliver’s lovely voice became a source of daily comfort as I binge listened to the series. In the process, I have learned more French history, geography, cultural customs and even some tidbi... more

  • Très Jolie!

This is a great podcast about Paris and other things French. Just listened to the most popular streets episode imagining the long walks I’ve taken on my various trips to Paris over the years. So enjoyable listening to Oliver and Lena and guests. 💓

Although enjoyable, I was looking for something less focused on "hidden gems” and quirky-ness and more “what to see, do and eat”. And just a minor thing, and she seems like a lovely person, but Lina’s constant giggles are driving me crazy. I will continue to follow and jump to more recent episodes.

Just listened to the episode on Oliver’s doctor visit and wonder why he didn’t take a fluent French friend with him. E... more

  • Used to love this podcast, but….

There is nothing more aggravating than a podcast host chortling and laughing every 30 seconds. Sadly, that is what has happened since Lina was introduced as a co-host. Otherwise, this podcast about Paris is excellent. Offering reat and timely information with a variety of guests, Oliver brings home my favorite city, Paris. Unfortunately, Lina’s constant laughter and sometimes even snorting is so annoying that I just cannot make it through an entire podcast episode. Please, please bring back the ... more
