This is such a comfort listen for me. Even if I never make it to 99% of these destinations, listening to Pauline makes me feel so more worldly. A really nice companion show to the books, which I also read for places I’ve never been lol
Dude ranch! How fun! Love hearing about all the options- I bet it’d be cool for plein air painting and writing too! I was wondering about the farm to fork (cattle and all) and what kind of vegetarian options. Also, so many seem eco-friendly, I wonder if that affects their ranch practice (cow produced methane and all that). Not exactly a travel question, but I did wonder. Can’t wait to hear how it goes when you have your dude adventure!
I just got hooked on this show. The best kind of obsession: where I could go and what draws me there. It never gets old.
I always find it interesting how liberals need to “use their platform” to go on woke rants that they think the listeners will appreciate. Conversely, I never know when a travel podcast is hosted by a conservative because they ….don’t talk about it…what an interesting concept 🤔 why can’t you focus on travel? This is a travel podcast correct? Why the need to insert your political biases? Keep it travel focused or go start a politics podcast where you can hate and divide to your heart’s content.
Pauline Frommer always provides the best information on travel. I’ve been using her website and travel guides for over 20 years and she has provided amazing guidance. Recently, at the Los Angeles Travel Show, her talk was very very informative. Thank you so much, Pauline, for your guidance and encouragement for travel. Thank you also for great budget travel ideas. I can’t wait to try some of them out.
