Out of Office is a travel podcast hosted by us, Ryan Davis and Kiernan Schmitt. From early childhood, we were each infected with a serious case of wanderlust (among other things.) We define travel broadly, from local day trips to high-flyin’ overseas adventures. Every episode, we dig into one topic—ranging from the serious to the silly, the practical to the outlandish—and give advice on how to get... more

  • Loving it

Stumbled upon your podcast and I’ve listened to a few of them. Love the banter and the authenticity. I’m an avid traveler and it’s fun to recall places I’ve visited that you talk about and others that are on my list. FYI, Bran is way overrated so Ryan didn’t miss much (albeit the torture exhibit is quite cool.) Realised I may have been in Sofia around the same time as Ryan! Also, Copenhagen - you need to did one. I’m Cph based if you ever visit would love to show you around.

  • Santiago - I’m there

So happy to come across this podcast and particularly the shows relating to Ryan’s visit to Santiago. I was close to cancelling our post cruise stay and fly straight home as I wasn’t sure where to stay, what to visit or where to eat. Problem now solved! Thanks so much. I’m now following and looking forward to the Eastern Europe pods. 😊 Margie

  • Too much useless talk - little bit of real travel stuff

20-30% of real travel stuff in an episode and rest is useless talk between them.

I don’t have time to waste on their useless chat
