The awards commentary is great! I appreciate the bts look of the award shows and interviews given by the hosts including the press room, the governors’s hall etc — especially coverage of the current protests at the award shows that many of us wouldn’t see covered anywhere else. A generally interesting and well produced movie podcast, well worth listening to. The hosts' incessant need to shroud their opinions in identity politics have admittedly gotten a bit tedious over time, but the film content is still strong and worthwhile.

I wanted to love it, but the hosts are just too…punchy? They sound to me like hostages with guns held to their heads. Hard to listen to anyone being that forcibly chipper.
From my first time listening to “Ghibli Magic Moments” during the beginning of the pandemic, I have always been able to rely on the Letterboxd show for hilarious, heartfelt, and well-researched film entertainment. Putting on the podcast on long drives always makes me feel like I’m in the company of old friends and I ESPECIALLY love the Best in Show limited series.
