  • Mom

The Best of the Best!!! When your mom is on I feel so calm and she makes me so dang happy. You can feel the love between you two. You, Laura, are the luckiest girl in the world having a mother like her! She loves you unconditionally with all of her heart and I can see why! Keep up the good work!

  • Being Real is Everything

The episode(s) with you and your ex are so hard to listen to. This is exactly what I’ve experienced when discussing things with my emotionally abusive partner. It is also so validating to hear it because I can hear myself in you talking to him like he is a child, explaining calmly, only to then repeat yourself over and over.

Also that autism episode you just dropped is gold. Feeling seen and loved.

my ideal man...
Q: How do you cope with having an autistic son and manage overwhelm?
Seek strong support networks, respite care, and permission to vent; prioritize one-on-one time with each child, celebrate strengths, and accept that you can't do it all alone while practicing self-care and seeking professional guidance when needed.
my ideal man...
Q: What type of guy do you look for when dating?
I value humor, honesty, and independence, and I think someone who loves themselves and isn't looking to complete me, because a healthy relationship requires two people who are whole on their own.
my ideal man...
Q: What are your most game-changing organization hacks with young kids in the home?
I'm a type B mom, so my hacks focus on simple, flexible systems that reduce daily friction, like clear routines, easy-to-access supplies, and accepting that perfection isn't the goal—supportive choices and small, repeatable steps matter more.
I can't get enough
Q: How do you handle the emotional load of sobriety while pursuing creative projects?
She emphasizes community supports like recovery meetings and the idea that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness, and that sustaining energy for work comes from consistent routines and boundaries.
I can't get enough
Q: What sparked your approach to balancing perfectionism with live performance?
Laura describes using feedback loops from friends, mentors, and a dramaturg to reshape the show, accepting that the process includes fear and revision but stressing the importance of moving forward despite it.
