  • Great history and storytelling

After finishing History of Rome, I decided to looked for something similar covering a part of the world I’ve also been fascinated by… Latin America. Max Serjeant does an amazing job covering an immense amount of information while telling a captivating story. I’ve finished 100 episodes and am excited to continue! Thanks Max!!

Q: How effective do you think this tactic of enlisting these boys was? Do we know if they played a significant role in the beginning of the conversion of Mexico's indigenous peoples?

Q: What was the setting of the stories you tell in your book? I know we're talking about Spanish Mexico, but how soon after the conquest did these events take place?
I'm looking at kind of the mid to late 1520s. This is less than 10 years after the conquest of Mexico.
