Disappointing podcast. I started listening to it as the Rainbow Warrior story is interesting and needs to be told. Unfortunately this podcast is mostly a left wing rant against colonialism and westernisation with the RW story just a sideshow. That’s what happens when you get an activist to try and do serous journalism.
The podcast is pretty good overall, with interesting topics and insightful discussions. However, as a journalist, I think the host should aim to keep personal remarks and opinions to a minimum. While it’s clear he has strong views, maintaining a more objective stance would make the content feel more balanced and professional. Objectivity is key in journalism, and I believe it would enhance the listening experience if the podcast focused more on facts and less on personal commentary. That said, i... more
