Reviews

  • Fascinating and Insightful

A refreshingly informed take on Iran, which focuses on the country in its own right, rather than a supporting actor in the history and IR of the US.

It has a wide variety of guests with different cultural, national, and professional backgrounds, interviewed by an adroit professional who makes her guests shine.

  • Informative

Hopefully Iran becomes secular and much more open to the world in the future as it has locked itself out at the moment like Russia.

  • One sided

Negar and her cast of Ayatollah apologist are always ready to blame America and the world but never the clerics in Iran . Both her and her pal Trita Parsi have been disgraced by the Iranian diaspora for their secret dealings with the Iranian regime .

Also and on a lighter note her voice and accent are nauseating.

Tomorrow is Yesterday: Rob Malley on Israel-Palestine and US-Iran
Q: Do you have much hope for either of these two files, US-Iran and Israel-Palestine?
One always has hope, but I see a difficult path to truly normal relations between the US and Iran without significant changes.
Tomorrow is Yesterday: Rob Malley on Israel-Palestine and US-Iran
Q: How would you do it differently?
It's not a book that's going to offer a blueprint or prescription, but it's time to question everything about the negotiations and processes.
Tomorrow is Yesterday: Rob Malley on Israel-Palestine and US-Iran
Q: Can you give a summary, basically your view, of why it's failed over the years?
The conflict was misdiagnosed, viewed superficially rather than addressing its historical, emotional, and psychological roots.
Prison Break: Israeli Disinfo Operations
Q: What were the main findings of your research on the disinformation operation?
The operation utilized fake accounts and AI-generated content to depict Iranian instability and invite public uprisings, ultimately failing to incite any substantial reaction.
Prison Break: Israeli Disinfo Operations
Q: What drew you to investigate the disinformation network linked to Israel?
The investigation was prompted by a tip-off from a researcher at Clemson University, which indicated coordinated and potentially inauthentic activity.
