This week, all four of us sit down for an honest and emotional conversation about trauma and crisis — how to respond when it strikes, and how to navigate it as a family. The reality is that at some point in life, you will walk through seasons of pain... more
In this episode, we explore how generational sin, trauma, and family stories shape who we are — and how God invites us into healing and freedom. Scripture reminds us in Numbers 14:18 that the effects of sin can ripple through generations, but through... more

As the school year begins, we’re diving into the hopes, pressures, and rhythms of this season. We start with the myth of “you only get 18 summers,” a phrase that can put unnecessary pressure on parents. Instead of viewing time with our kids through a... more

This podcast feels like a rebrand of the high-control 90’s Christian parenting playbook — the one that twisted Jesus into every behavior and weaponized Him against normal childhood development. It’s the same old formula: obedience is framed as holiness, emotions are policed as sin, and parents are encouraged to control rather than guide.
I love Jesus, and I believe the best way you can share Him with your children is not through emotional shaming, or fear-based control. It’s through modeling His... more
Absolutely incredible. Biblical, practical, easy to relate to and apply. My go-to.
I’m so thank for this podcast. I so appreciate how no matter the subject they encourage, relate, & provide scripture for the content they’re sharing about into the conversation. It’s been such a help for me in my parenting and relationships in general. Such a great podcast!
The content of this podcast is great and I love the inter-generational aspect of it. The one thing I find very distracting and frustrating is that Brook continually makes “jokes” about his wife and her flaws/weak spots or things she does. Although he says he’s joking, it happens nearly every episode and feels out of place because the others do not tease him in the same way. I hope they become aware of this because it’s clear that they are all great people who would not intentionally put each oth... more
Love that it is looking at family dynamics through a Christian lens. It’s fun to hear about how parenting has changed some between the two generations and how to turn to God to seek the truth. I also enjoy the interviews that show us that modern research is just validating biblical principles.
Thank you for the refreshing words each week. I feel like I’m sitting down with a relatable close friend and can converse about vulnerable topics.
