  • Pretentious, intentionally dense, and inaccessible

I would recommend anyone interested in clear concise accessible communication to check out this podcast as an example of a wide array of habits to avoid. As a 20+ year fan of integral meta-theory, this podcast misses an important lesson from integral’s most important figure. Ken Wilber

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Liminal Cafe w/ Sher Griffin
Q: How does diunitality function in Sher's framework?
Diunitality is about engaging with tension in a way that allows new configurations to emerge, not merely tolerating or threading together opposite sides; it seeks signaling from the tension to guide attention and repair within relationships.
The Liminal Cafe w/ Sher Griffin
Q: What is the core idea behind cognitive ecology and how does it differ from containment models?
Cognitive ecology reframes how we understand mind and healing by focusing on relational dynamics within multiple interacting domains (psychological, emotional, physiological, cultural, spiritual) instead of reducing things to isolated variables; it emphasizes openness and adaptability rather than a fixed, top-down containment.
PRINCIPLES OF POST-POSTMODERN SPIRITUALITY w/ Steve McIntosh
Q: What's your impression of metamodern spirituality?
McIntosh describes the emerging cultural framework as a significant evolution in spiritual thought that emphasizes spiritual pluralism, acknowledging various pathways to understanding meaning.
Authors - "The Alchemy of Being a House" w/ Jen Peer Rich
Q: What is a good man?
A good man, as I've experienced, is a man who shows up in any given moment, in his full authentic self, however that looks.
Authors - "The Alchemy of Being a House" w/ Jen Peer Rich
Q: How do we get that balance right?
It takes some experimentation, yeah. When I had this breakdown experience 14 years ago, and that was really the spark of this book.
