  • So good

Expensive Information, free. Thank you! btw that 1 guy not Microsoft sponsored right hehe think it was genuine enthusiasm just for a shortterm obsessed company (at the moment), anyway—good stuff! — UPDATE: also well mastered w/the audio I think b/c clarity even over a tiny speaker w/background noise!

Update 2: the kids will be all right—some of the smartest 20-somethings, they’ve found for this.

Pls keep it up w/o paywall, can’t promote y’all otherwise :)

  • Decent content, abysmal sound editing

Very hard to listen to... loudness smoothing and balance is all off on nearly every episode.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Inside SpaceX’s Historic $2T IPO: Nasdaq Debut, Crypto & Retail Traders, the Starlink Threat
Q: What did you make of the retail allocation, and how might it impact the stock price?
The guest suggested the allocation was large and beneficial for diffusion of ownership, but the decision by retail investors to participate does not necessarily translate into long-term ownership; instead, expect high volatility and active trading, especially once options start trading and index inclusion pressures emerge.
‘Mr. IPO’ on SpaceX’s Historic Listing, Anthropic’s Repelling Data Retention Policy
Q: Given the current demand dynamics, how likely is SpaceX to trade up on the first day and what factors could temper that momentum?
Institutional demand appears strong, with a potential for a robust first-day move, but the outcome could be tempered by how quickly index providers add SpaceX to major benchmarks and by broader tech stock sentiment.
SpaceX’s Quiet CFO Ahead of Wild IPO, Anthropic Sounds Alarm on Recursive Self-Improvement
Q: What makes Brett Johnson such a critical figure for SpaceX's IPO?
Johnson is portrayed as a long-tenured, steady CFO who has successfully navigated tough downturns and aggressive negotiations with bankers, acting as a conduit for Elon Musk and helping steer rapid financial decisions around costs and revenue generation as SpaceX moves toward becoming a public company.
SpaceX’s Quiet CFO Ahead of Wild IPO, Anthropic Sounds Alarm on Recursive Self-Improvement
Q: Give us the day by day. What should we be watching for?
The week ahead centers on SpaceX's IPO pricing and the actual trading debut, with attention on the $135 per share target and how demand will shape pricing, plus ongoing coverage of Brett Johnson's role and the backstory behind his appointment.
Inside OpenAI’s IPO Filing, Former SpaceX Engineer on IPO, Apple’s AI Siri Upgrade
Q: What stood out from Apple's Siri upgrade and its strategic use of Gemini and partner services?
The upgrade emphasizes a more capable AI backbone via Gemini, a dedicated app for Siri, and selective use of outside cloud compute from Google and Nvidia, signaling a measured approach to scale while protecting user privacy.
