  • Worth the Listen doing dishes or life and career development!!!

My best friend sent me a YouTube video of Rory discussing Time Management a long time ago, when we were balancing little kids and marriages as Stay At Home Moms. Years later, as a self- starting Solopreneur, I’m amazed and thankful that his life’s work is still SO on-spot and applicable to my personal and professional development! I love that he and AJ are doing life and working for God for others and for their family, together.

Small Audience, Big Money: How to Monetize Without Millions of Followers

Coaching is typically a one-to-one consumer service focusing on individual growth, while consulting is organizational and scalable to many people within a company, often delivering a framework or system that an organization can adopt across teams.
Small Audience, Big Money: How to Monetize Without Millions of Followers
Q: What are the top monetization models for someone with a small following under 5,000?
The most effective models are one-to-one coaching and one-to-one consulting, priced premium due to their tailored, hands-on nature. These approaches allow a few clients to receive deep, custom work rather than trying to scale with low-ticket, mass-market offerings.

Royalties vary by distribution path: exclusive Audible distribution can offer up to 40% royalties, while non-exclusive distribution across multiple platforms typically yields around 25%. Production advances and who pays for production vary by contract, and many authors use their audiobook as a lead-gen tool or retain rights to publish via their own app to maximize communication with buyers.
