I listened to this up to its finale when it was coming out “live” up to 2018. Now, 5 years on I have restarted the series to listen again. This podcast scratches an itch that I have not been able to find elsewhere.
I listened to the entire podcast over the past month and it had made me feel so many different emotions alongside the players. I must admit from the end of episode eight into the first half of episode 9 I was sobbing uncontrollably. WHY HIM WHY SUCH A GOOD MAN 😫😫😭😭 Anyways very amazing works, I found myself thinking every single character was my favorite at some point even some of DMs characters! Sebastian came out on top as my favorite. I listened to this podcast to help me learn about the... more
The writer/GM here is truly inspired. He is clearly well educated, and he brings this wealth into the game. His world building is so comprehensive that he never misses a beat, no matter what the players throw at him. I also really appreciate the players. They are engaging and witty without indulging in the sort of teenage yuk-yuks or buddy banter that so many RLP podcasts lay down. Enjoy it every time!
The best rpg actual play podcast out there. I'd listen to anything with Sebastian St Battenburg, Cornelia Cavendish and co. in it.
And roll a strength check. Absolutely brilliant show. I laughed so many times over the course of this show and I was gutted that it ended. I’ve heard some other improv adventures and none of them compare to this. The chemistry among those involved is just awesome and I miss it dearly. I hope they figure out a way to do another show like this again. Definitely Human’s similar show Pax fortuna was good and when this crew was on there, it was great, but not as consistently funny, engaging, and tigh... more
