  • Worth it!

I have followed Saul’s work for many years and this is a very exciting new podcast. The data center takeover of American cities and towns is happening quickly and very aggressively. If you blink, you’ll miss it and we’ll wake up one day surrounded by these enormous, loud, polluting factories. Excited to hear more from Saul and follow this series.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The People vs AI
Q: Tell me more about the data center and AI connection and why this is the focus of People vs. AI?
Data centers are the physical backbone powering AI; their expansion drives environmental strain, land use conflicts, and local governance concerns, making them a central touchpoint for resisting the concentration of AI power across communities.
The People vs AI
Q: So what surprised you most when you were writing this segment of the trilogy?
The most surprising part is how geographically and politically dispersed the fight is, with conservatives, rural communities, and environmentalists forming unexpected coalitions against data center expansion and AI concentration.
