Thank you Dr. DeClue for all the great info here! My horse is living proof of the situation you describe with diagnosing lameness in horses. I was first told it was coming from the pole. Then her right stifle, then left from foot. Finally we got a much clearer picture when shown a torn ligament in her front left foot.
