  • Good music, but not so traditional as dark/cold/folky. VERY EXPLICIT

They have good taste in music and they share it, but often they don’t talk about country but more cold folky rock country. They need more traditional and older artists, Johnny Cash, John Anderson, Robert Earl Keen, John Prine, Blaze Foley, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard ETC. And if you can PLEASE do a HANK III episode, I’d lIke to see what you think about him. Also please, please cuss less and be less idiotic and don’t make as many annoying voices, Kevin. more

  • No pop country

These two have great taste in music-and they’re fairly funny to boot. If you’d like to learn about new and great country music, this is the podcast for you.

  • Not what you think...

If you want a podcast of great country music content where you can bask in the glory of your favorite artists.... keep looking. If you want to hear a ginger and his cousin lover try to audition for a 2010’s version of Romper Room meets YeeHaw with a touch of laughter that will make you want to stab your ear drums, you’ve found home. With just a sprinkle of being so far removed from a country music hub that it’s almost out of touch, these guys are able to bring together almost enough to make this... more

  • Discover Good Music

Somewhat amateurish as far as presentation but first rate when it comes to sharing good and often obscure Country and Americana music. Hidden gems are sure to be found.

  • The truth is indeed out there!

Fantastic. Stumbled upon the Podgecast by mistake, and what a wonderful mistake. Funny, irreverent, but most importantly, some of the most honest taeks on Country music. Wonderful tunes, fabulous artists, and guaranteed you’ll hear someone you’re not familiar with, and you’ll fall in love (then break up, painfully, and write a song about it). If you’re looking for tailgating, dirt road driving, river riding summer anthems, then you’ll need to look elsewhere, because this is Country as it should ... more
