Curb by far and away my favourite show ever. This should be my favourite podcast ever but sadly Jeff ruins it. Poor Suzie is constantly interrupted, shouted over and how she doesn’t blow her top is testament to her. Also, the best episodes are when they have a guest join them. I’m bearing with it but Jeff, oh dear.
Loved Susie but can’t listen to Jeff
I enjoy this rambling conversation between two friends and the conversations get even better when they have a guest. However, I wonder why I keep listening each time Jeff Garlin interrupts Susie or another person- or even himself- by saying “by the way.”
Now that’s a phrase I use myself and I’m prone to go off on tangents but this man uses it about twice a minute. It can be infuriating and Jeff has trouble letting anyone finish a sentence.
I’m amazed that Susie has the patience to spend so m... more
Agree with all the reviews that praise Susie and mention Jeff’s constant interruptions and ramblings that arent even funny despite his attempts at humor. Its so stressful every time Susie begins to speak knowing an abrupt, loud and rude Jeff interruption is coming. And his overused phrase “a big bowl of…” is so cheesy (ie Ted Danson is just a big bowl of funny). I used to listen all the time but now only check in occasionally to see if Jeff has curbed his behavior.
Love Susie. Love Jeff. Love the guests. But FAR TOO MANY ADS. Unlistenable.
