Reviews

4.5 out of 5 stars from 1.7k ratings
  • Love his politics but all that reading to us just seems lazy. We want engaging interesting dialogue between bright people not someone filling up a podcast with finding stuff to read.

  • Would have been a five-star review but…

I can’t recommend the radio show/podcast since Thom allows right-wing (paid) shills to spew their traitorous opinions. Other show have banned these individuals for good reason. These people have enough of their own outlets, we don’t need them on the VERY FEW progressive outlets. Unfortunately, Thom has become an appeaser.

  • Love his show but he is kind of showing his age by repeating stories so much.

Q: What is driving the push for war with Iran according to the host?
The host argues that Trump's actions are motivated by political calculation to appease allies and distract from other scandals, rather than a legitimate national security threat, and he warns this will have long-term negative consequences for democracy and global stability.
The Imperial President Moves on Venezuela
Q: How does the involvement of billionaire interests shape the situation?
The discussion highlights figures like Paul Singer and corporate oil interests as potentially driving policy for profit, influencing who gains from oil and geopolitical leverage.
The Imperial President Moves on Venezuela
Q: What is the main risk of a U.S.-backed intervention in Venezuela?
The guests and host argue that a rushed, oil-driven intervention could ignite insurgency, civil conflict, and international backlash, while undermining constitutional processes and democratic norms.
Go And Do Likewise
Q: How should faith intersect with public policy in today's political climate?
Pavlovitz argues for a Jesus-centered ethic of empathy and service, urging the political sphere to prioritize care for the vulnerable and to resist politicized Christianity that excludes people.
