Just started with the Solodallas podcast. Liked it a lot. Now onto the Lollar one and I’ll no doubt find another interesting one. More interested in the interviews with companies that have items on my pedal board, but I don’t have any Lollars (yet) so that was a discovery! Great content guys. One suggestion: listening in the car at relatively high volume and not all voices are levelled. Some are very loud, others less audible.
The podcasts were decent but far too much off-topic rambling on this. I listened to hear an interview about specific pedal brands, and this 1.5 hour show could have easily been 20 minutes long.
Love the banter. The dude who doesn’t want to listen to strangers talking is missing the point of podcasts. Lots of interesting things are revealed in the unscripted conversations. Rock’n’roll, keep chatting.
Marshall episode = 50 mins blabbing then a few random tid bits of info
The best is when Jared, Tony and Todd are on together, with Rob Chaffe also great. One of the most enjoyable guitar related podcasts anywhere. Todd gets cringeworthy when inexplicably shaming his good natured co-hosts or blowing smoke up guests skirts. He too can sometimes run episodes as if they were infomercials instead of keeping it real. But even with those annoyances I rarely miss an episode. More Jared!!
