  • Good podcast, let down by the host

I used to listen to this podcast every day and kept giving the host the benefit of the doubt, but eventually it was one patronising lecture too many.

Every few episodes the football takes a back seat while the audience gets another self-righteous monologue about how people should behave—usually with little or nothing to do with Arsenal. I listen for Arsenal, not to be lectured.

The podcast constantly talks about positivity and respect, yet the tone often feels anything but: condescending, comb... more

Where do I start with this host ? He is the most arrogant (no reason to be)smug person you will ever meet he has very limited football knowledge but uses the fact he glazes arteta in press conferences to try talk like he knows what he’s talking about. He speaks to the audience like they are the minors he used to police at school he’s the reason Arsenal fans are a laughing stock the sooner he goes over to Charlton the better WE DONT WANT YOU AT OUR CLUB I’m also concerned about his bloating

The host expresses around a 60% chance, acknowledging uncertainty but leaning toward a move, with Chelsea and City also expressing interest.
Chelsea Approached Over Myles Lewis-Skelly Interest, Player Wants to Stay, Report Follow-Up - Arsenal Transfer Show
Q: Why wasn't the origin of the approach to Chelsea confirmed in the initial report?
Because the reporting process relies on well-placed sources and verification; while the fact of the approach was firmed up, the exact origin could not be confirmed at that time, and the host stresses that this kind of ambiguity can exist in transfer reporting.
Chelsea Approached Over Myles Lewis-Skelly Interest, Player Wants to Stay, Report Follow-Up - Arsenal Transfer Show
Q: Who contacted Chelsea regarding Myles Lewis-Skelly and where did that contact originate from?
The host explains that Chelsea received an approach about Myles Lewis-Skelly and that the source of that approach has not been publicly firmed up; efforts were focused on confirming the fact that an approach occurred, rather than identifying who initiated it.
Lewis-Skelly Sends Clear Message, 45m Gabriel Martinelli Offer, Arteta Worry - Arsenal Transfer Show
Q: Nick says, morning Tom, do you think that we are waiting to make some sales, not Myles Lewis-Skelly, by the way, to free up squad space rather than financial reasons before signing anyone further?
The host suggests there are multiple factors at play, including availability of players, demand in the market, and strategic needs, with potential changes if Arsenal can move on certain players.
Defeat to Dortmund, Arteta on Saliba, Timber and Signings, Tzolis Dazzles & Martinelli Exit? - Arsenal Transfer Show
Q: With the injuries to Saliba and Timber, should Arsenal push for a defender this summer?
The host and the manager imply a defender is a priority, arguing that depth is crucial and the right signing could be pivotal beyond just shoreting up the backline.
