What a great podcast. Talking about everything but I keyed in on the influence of Modern Drummer Magazine. I read an article about Sleishman drums back in about 1999 or 2000. I’d never done this before but I was so impressed I wrote a letter to Don. We became friends, I was invited to go to their first NAMM appearance in Anaheim and bought a beautiful 7pc kit in 2001.
