  • A joke?

Todays episode 🤦🏻‍♀️ here’s an idea. Maybe do some actual journalism and interview the other side.. you may find the reason why. Oh also, the use of the term “ free money” just laughable. Not news or journalism 😂

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 4: How should the world handle the Ebola outbreak?
Q: What is the thought behind the ad and how does it relate to governance?
The governor explains the ad humanizes her background, showing the public she understands economic struggles, and ties it to a broader message of policy actions that lower costs, while acknowledging political context and the need to address affordability.
Hour 4: Should Arizona Public Services be able to raise your rates by 14% every year
Q: Why would there be an automatic increase, and how would formula rates work?
Formula rates would allow automatic, year-over-year rate adjustments without the ongoing impulse of a formal review, potentially bypassing traditional cost testing and oversight.
Hour 4: Should Arizona Public Services be able to raise your rates by 14% every year
Q: What exactly can the Attorney General do in the APS rate case?
The AG can formally intervene to oppose the rate increase, bringing legal and regulatory scrutiny to APS's requests and ensuring the process remains accountable.
Hour 3: What do the wars in Ukraine and Iran have in common?
Q: Jim, with inflation still a drag on the economy, how long do you think these price pressures will persist?
Inflation is showing uneven signals and seems to be slowing in some areas but remaining stubborn in energy and goods, suggesting a longer, choppier path rather than a quick return to pre-crisis levels.
Mark Stapp, Director of the Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) & Fred Taylor Endowed Professor of Real Estate, Arizona State University
Q: Where do you see home prices going this year?
Prices are likely to rise modestly, with different segments moving differently; the lower and mid-market may stay flat or rise slowly, while the high end may see some softening, leading to a overall modest increase around 3-5%.
