  • Have Funn Go Nutz!

This podcast is such a great way to capture the entire audience of the flying squirrels. Not only that, but it always excites me prior to the season and prior to the games. Trey does an amazing job. I would love if there was a recap of each player somewhere either in the interview or in the details. Like at the beginning of Carson’s this season (where he was prior and college). Small ask and not a big deal either way. I am a giant Squirrels fan and so glad this podcast has been established!

  • Squirrels-focused, but so much more

Great look inside the Flying Squirrels (on and off the Diamond) that adjusted well to providing quality content despite the lost 2020 season. I believe any baseball fan - not just a Squirrels or Giants fan - would enjoy this.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Pregame Conversation: Tommy Everidge (June 24, 2026)
Q: What was the takeaway from Jonah Cox's early success and how did it translate to the Majors?
Cox demonstrated that a focused approach, even-keeled confidence, and a willingness to adjust in spring training can propel a player from Double-A to the big leagues, underscoring the importance of mindset and consistent execution.
Pregame Conversation: Parks Harber (June 20, 2026)
Q: Can you walk us through the trade deadline experience and joining the Giants?
It was tense and uncertain, but the front office communicated clearly that I was being included in the deal to the Giants, and joining a great organization has been a fantastic opportunity.
Pregame Conversation: Parks Harber (June 20, 2026)
Q: How has your outfield transition been going and what have you learned from playing multiple positions?
It's been a fun, new challenge; I spent almost no time in the outfield before this year, but embracing the change has helped me grow defensively and made me a more versatile asset for my team.
Pregame Conversation: Justin Wishkoski (June 23, 2025)
Q: So you've been an infielder a long time. How much have you actually spent time in the outfield prior to this year?
He explains he played a few games in the outfield in college, but otherwise focused on infield work; it's been a learning process but enjoyable and beneficial for versatility.
Pregame Conversation: Drew Cavanaugh (May 12, 2026)
Q: What led you to IMG Academy and the path through junior college before joining the Giants?
I was invited to IMG after a junior-year showcase, COVID paused things but it was a pivotal experience; I chose the junior college route to play immediately, then moved on to Florida Southern with a full ride, which helped me get drafted and advance through the system.
