In this episode, we dive deep into the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films directed by Gore Verbinski - The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. Why did a movie based on a theme park ride redefine the blockbuster? Is ... more

Not good at all, better shows out there. Pompous.
This is a very entertaining and eclectic podcast. Some great guests as well; e.g. they had one episode with a chap who has studied the costuming choices in all the Bond films, which is certainly not an angle I'd looked at them from, but fascinating all the same!
The hosts of this brilliant movie podcast really know their stuff! All the films are thoroughy researched and the analysis of each is very insightful. Interesting challenges and pet projects! My absolute favourite!
I really like the premise. Exploring the film of places who’s are is usually ignored, the listener is given a glimpse into a culture that is likely misunderstood. I also just enjoy scene by scene analysis. But why is the editing so bad? Why do your voices skip? It drives me out of my mind
Love the choice of films and the chemistry between the hosts. Sound quality is awesome
