  • Jurassic Podcast!

For me this is the best horse racing podcast because the host and guests aren’t SO tied into the industry that they’re terrified to say anything negative or controversial. Emmet will regularly flirt with the inappropriate and is prepared to run his mind on subjects that others avoid. Great listening. Also no other podcast does the host do impressions of the trainers. 🤣

Glorious Goodwood Day 3 Betting Guide | Nassau Stakes & Galway Hurdle Previews | 8/1 NAP! 16/1 Tip

Laurent Barbarin's Royal Ascot Special: French Raiders, Group 1 Stars & Best Bets
Q: What are your two horses to back at Royal Ascot?
Laurent names Rayevka and Best Secret as his two top bets, with Rayevka offering value on price and Best Secret representing a strong contender in the sprinting ranks, while acknowledging Daryz as a possibility for longer odds depending on the race and ground.
Laurent Barbarin's Royal Ascot Special: French Raiders, Group 1 Stars & Best Bets
Q: How do you think the French challenge is set up for Royal Ascot 2026?
Laurent explains that Graffard's team appears stronger this year, with a better balance of younger and more experienced horses, and that the French contingent could make a significant impact if ground conditions suit their horses and they adapt quickly to Ascot's track. He notes Rayevka as a standout, with potential for improvement and a solid prep performance behind her, while acknowledging stiff competition from the big four in the Guineas line-up.
Aidan O'Brien Royal Ascot Stable Tour: Exclusive Runners, Targets & Ryan Moore Picks
Q: Aidan, with the Coventry coming up, how do you balance prep for multiple smart juveniles like Confucius and the two fillies?
We assess each horse's development week by week, aiming to keep them progressing without overtaxing them, and we weigh group race suitability, track conditions, and the competition we'll face in Coventry and beyond.
