  • Top Tipster

Rory is the best tipster, his insights are fascinating and he nearly always manages to dig out a decent priced winner, if you get on to his tips early that’s a big plus, Ruby has great knowledge, especially when it comes to Willie Mullins horses, never listen to Matt Chapman he is a loud buffoon

  • Ruby and Rory

Best racing podcast by a furlong.

Ruby and Rory are a great combination ; Walsh is ridiculously good as a broadcaster and analyst, but most pundits clearly find him an intimidating presence ( unsurprisingly). Delargey has a degree of humility , but couples it with deep knowledge , which means the interactions between the two are incredibly forensic and informative

Backing up what other people have said ; PK is different class . Articulate , self effacing , and realises it’s not about him

  • Get rid of Chapman!

He’s such a t*t, ruins everything he paid to give or paid to give an opinion on.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

"WE'LL HAVE A GOOD GO!" | Harry Cobden | Punchestown rides on Tuesday & Wednesday | Khrisma
Q: What side would you be on? Gaelic Warrior or Faktafile?
Faktafile, I think. He's a fresh horse and has a good chance, especially given ground conditions and form after Cheltenham.
"WE'LL HAVE A GOOD GO!" | Harry Cobden | Punchestown rides on Tuesday & Wednesday | Khrisma
Q: Now, she obviously pulled up last time out at Kelso when she sent off a very heavily backed favourite. Can you tell us what happened that day? I know you weren't on board, and can you tell us what you're expecting on Tuesday?
The race plan was solid; she ran well at Punchestown previously, but a late mistake at Kelso interrupted her chances. We're aiming for a big run on Tuesday and expect her to show improved form.
HARRY COBDEN'S PUNCHESTOWN THURSDAY RIDES | Birdie Or Bust | Salvator Mundi | Honesty Policy | Day 3
Q: Which of the three Thursday rides do you see as your best chance?
Cobden argues Honesty Policy stands out due to progression and past form, but notes all three rides have credible chances depending on tactics and race conditions.
HARRY COBDEN’S PUNCHESTOWN SATURDAY RIDES | Reaction to Salvator Mundi G1 win | 4 more rides for JP
Q: What's your strategy for the four Saturday rides, especially with ProActive and Berico Lord?
Keep things simple, settle the horses early, and ride to the strengths of each horse rather than overcomplicating the plan.
HARRY COBDEN’S PUNCHESTOWN SATURDAY RIDES | Reaction to Salvator Mundi G1 win | 4 more rides for JP
Q: What was your plan going into the last part of the race against Copacody, and did you think you could pull it off?
I aimed to go at Copacody down to the last but knew it wouldn't be easy; I wasn't certain I'd beat him, but I believed I could be in contention.
