Great podcast. Clearly do a lot of research for each episode and present it in a unique manner. I enjoy the nature sounds and the ambiance provided by each unique spot. Catching up on old episodes in between new releases. The breadth of topics is great too.
This is my favourite podcast. It feels like being out on a hike with a bunch of friends. I enjoy listening to the guys explain interesting scientific papers, go on tangents about things they come across in the field, and especially the sense of humour. The episodes with guest experts are also fantastic. I have listened to almost all of the episodes several times now. Huge thanks to Bill, Steve, and Daniel!
The Field Guides is by far my favorite podcast. I love that scientific literature is used, the variety of topics, and the humor that occurs. As a biologist, I really enjoy some of the questions that come up and critical thinking that happens each episode. It's a little late, but welcome Daniel!
Super natural history info and conversations. Excellent array of topics. Highly recommend. These guys are my Goldenrod Gall Gurus.
Great podcast for nature enthusiasts. Shows how complex everything is when you look at the details. When the hosts include an expert, it REALLY gets interesting! Not only for the nature, but for career trajectories and networks.
