  • Tedious

Despite the content and the presenter’s background in the subject, the pace is slow slow slow. The presenter sound like she is reading from a script, the guests are variable in interest and quality, and the episode are generally far too long. Needs production values and editing.

  • Informative, Fun, and Interesting

The interviews focus on the experience of each guest and uniquely meets them where they are at in their erotic journey. It’s so nice to hear perspectives and about roles that might not resonate with me for play but would love to know more about.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#80 Sexual Sovereignty: The Psychology of Passion with Susan Bratton
Q: What is one core insight about desire you want listeners to take away?
Engorgement and heart-led connection are foundational; slow down to allow blood flow to genital structures, while also inviting emotional openness to create sustainable, deeply satisfying intimacy.
#80 Sexual Sovereignty: The Psychology of Passion with Susan Bratton
Q: How did you come to be recognized as an expert on intimate communication and desire?
I transformed my own relationship through radical honesty, unlearning cultural scripts, and learning to communicate openly about needs, which evolved into teaching others via Better Lover and Personal Life Media.
#79 The Submissive CEO: Surrender, Grief and Erotic Curiosity with Calliope
Q: What role does grief play in your erotic life and healing process?
Grief has diminished my libido and shifted me toward a largely asexual state, but I continue to engage with writing and the kink community as a way to process and heal, with a hopeful path toward re-engaging with my sexuality in the future.
#76 The Conscious Submissive: Sub Frenzy & Integrative Kink with Subinthecity
Q: How did you and your husband move from a slower, safer pace to a stronger DOM-sub dynamic?
We started with back-to-basics conversations, using structured tools to map desires, then gradually built trust and safety through incremental exploration, ongoing check-ins, and pacing the experiences to the slowest partner, ensuring ongoing consent and alignment.
#78 Dominatrix Rin: Emotional Power, Ritual & Psychosexual Sorcery
Q: What was that first day as a Dominatrix like?
She describes a terrifying but pivotal first day at a house in Richmond, California, where lack of formal training existed but early community learning helped shape her approach.
