Kudos to Nicky and everyone who reported on this. Journalistically this is so well done. Thoughtful and empathetic and honest.
It’s crazy some of these podcast nowadays anybody can have one anybody can do one and these guys seem like they just made it to make it. I don’t like it and it made me very sleepy. It was really good at putting me to sleep. I suppose the only cool thing is the woman’s voice and accent. Like it if you like it, don’t if you don’t, but it’s not for me.
I really appreciate how much research you did, especially about the culture of ballet. I am someone who knows nothing about ballet and appreciated how thoughtful you were with all your subjects.
As a dancer and ballet lover, this fell short. It’s full of the host’s opinions and things we don’t care about. Furthermore, by the end, she’s taking the side of the perpetrator who doesn’t really admit any wrongdoing. It’s unsatisfying and just adds to the negativity that the ballet world can be so prone to.
