  • Ran its course

Moshe and Natasha need to admit the podcast ran its course. They’re phoning it in. Moshe is performatively woke for the guests and callers to make Natasha look bad. Natasha can no longer contain her thinly veiled contempt for Moshe.

  • Back up let the lady speak please

I wish Natasha would talk more and M would talk less. I have kept my phone plugged in kitchen for past year. If I do need to use it I go there stand in the sun by the window alone and treat myself to tea/cold brew & check/send. Then I leave it and walk away to enjoy real life.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

"God Level Manipulation"
Q: I'm a long-time honeymooner with a fiancé and a wedding looming. How should I handle in-law tensions and family dynamics at the wedding?
The hosts advocate for a balanced approach, potentially inviting the family with strict guidelines and consequences, or proposing to elope as a radical but sometimes necessary solution; they urge clarity and making hard but fair decisions.
"God Level Manipulation"
Q: My fiancé and my family on the dad side do not get along, and she really does not want them there. Do I invite the family to the wedding or not?
They suggest addressing the conflict directly, considering destination weddings to limit attendance, and if needed, setting rules for attendees to protect the fiancé's comfort, while valuing the future grandparent relationships.
"God Level Manipulation"
Q: Hi EH team. I wanted to reach out and see if I could court Moshe and Natasha for some advice. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years. Now we have plans to move in together in June. Everything is great in our relationship and I'm excited to take the next step. The only problem is that my boyfriend really wants to get a pit bull. I currently have a small corgi and I'm dreading the idea of a giant dog around the house.
The hosts discuss negotiating a compromise with a mix (not a pure pit bull) and having clear boundaries, meeting the dog first, and ensuring both partners feel heard, while acknowledging safety and comfort as priorities.
“Freshly Married” with Joel Kim Booster
Q: What is the balance between love and practical matters in a relationship?
The guests and hosts suggest focusing on emotional support, shared growth, and transparent communication, and to use affordable tools like books or group discussions to build skills, rather than waiting for financial stability alone to justify commitment.
Love Is A Farm
Q: How can I balance personal needs with being in a relationship without hurting my partner or feeling selfish?
The hosts suggest clearly stating needs using I-statements, scheduling regular time for personal interests, and discussing boundaries during calm moments rather than during conflict.
