  • I was expecting some scripture to guide this podcast.

    I think episode 3 really confirmed for me the book doesn’t need to be on my “To Read” List.

    It moves into personality traits and things we enjoy rather than going into a deeper dive on what the Bible says dying to self is all about. I thought by the title, we were going to be hearing some biblical guidance on what we need to stop sacrificing and what we need to be. Instead it was much more about, learn who you are (through personality tests rather than who God says we are) and then find things ... more

    I’ve ready Emotionally Healthy Woman three times and each time, it has had a profound impact on my personhood and leadership. I think everyone, especially those in any kind of ministry role should read it. I’m an active listener to the EHL podcast and was really looking forward to the launch of this one!
