Allowing 200 yards to Marshall in a half isn’t going to beat Georgia. Day and Knowles know that. Beating Penn State, Notre Lame, and Rutgers isn’t good enough anymore. It’s tim... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 613: Film Study Teaser — Coroner Jones Conducts Autopsy of Ohio State's First 2025 Loss
Q: How much has this setback, you think, affected the strides that they had made in recent weeks through November?
Despite Indiana being good, this loss raises concerns about Ohio State's offensive line, especially heading into the playoffs against teams with solid defensive lines.
Ep. 613: Film Study Teaser — Coroner Jones Conducts Autopsy of Ohio State's First 2025 Loss
Q: Do you at least think that the play calling in this game was better than what happened in the Michigan game last year that they also lost 13 to 10 before going into the CFP?
Yes, I think they made adjustments in the second half that weren't acknowledged. Overall game planning had a slow start, but they controlled the game better in the second half.
Ep. 604: Film Study Teaser — Matt Patricia and Caleb Downs Ruin Greg Schiano's Day
Q: Do you think this was more of a product of them deliberately trying to get Clair involved?
It's a little bit of both, but it's important to remember that the way receiving rooms work is not just as a depth chart.
Ep. 582: Looking Back On and Ahead to "The Game" with Ramzy Nasrallah
Q: Is the Michigan game losing its value or its importance?
Categorically, yes, in terms of postseason, but no in terms of its historical importance.
Ep. 582: Looking Back On and Ahead to "The Game" with Ramzy Nasrallah
Q: Do you feel good about them doing what needs to be done in order to win this game?
I feel good, given the way things have trended, especially with the willingness to adapt offensive mentality.
