  • Personal opinion

Use to be my favorite show but now it feels like a spot for self advertisement. Sorry just the way I feel probably not important but I definitely have changed my podcasts .

  • Radical Ad

This broadcast is brought to you by an ad for Jasmine Crockett. They have no standard in terms of the ads that they will run, so I have no interest in continuing to listen to this podcast.

  • Best in the Biz

Adam King is not a voice that carries any credibility with OSU football. He’s the only weak-link on this podcast. As a true recruiting junkie, I can confidently say Birm is the best in the business, when it comes to OSU recruiting Info, and it’s not even close.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Beat: Ohio State mailbag questions on tight end usage, defensive line rotation and much more
Q: Will there be more rotation on the defensive line to keep players fresh?
Yes, they expect increased rotation with six defensive ends capable of contributing, aiming to maintain high performance across a 16-game season.
The Beat: Ohio State mailbag questions on tight end usage, defensive line rotation and much more
Q: Could we see less 13 personnel during the year and more 11 or 12 in the Ohio State offense?
The hosts discuss that 12 personnel could be feasible if tight ends are strong blockers, while 13 personnel may reduce as the year progresses if blocking and versatility improve.
The Beat: Feisty, chippy Ohio State closes training camp ready to start season strong
Q: What actually changes on the practice field as you move from camp to game prep?
Practices become more detailed and position-specific, with a shift toward game planning, opponent tendencies, and more targeted scout work, while the pace and format separate offense and defense to simulate real game situations.
Snap Judgments: Isaiah West, Beau Atkinson highlight Ohio State post-practice discussion
Q: What does that mean for the overall roster when you see a group of guys like this talking about their development?
The hosts suggest that the team is building resilience and leadership through multiple players contributing in different roles, rather than relying on a single star, and that development over the next weeks will crystallize who steps up as starters.
The Beat: How Arthur Smith is already impacting Ohio State early in Buckeyes 2026 training camp
Q: What is Arthur Smith's biggest wake-up call for Ryan Day and what outside perspective is he bringing to the staff?
The guests discuss that Smith's outside perspective could tighten play calling in the red zone and push discipline in situational football, potentially changing how they leverage star players and the tight end group.
